I am a visual artist and designer with a background in Textile Design, having studied at Edinburgh College of Art. My work is grounded in a strong understanding of the decorative arts and focuses on the thoughtful re-interpretation of traditional materials through contemporary processes.
My current collection centres on overprinted vintage china plates, each carefully sourced and individually reworked using selected imagery. By combining historic ceramics with modern visual elements, I produce a distinctive range of decorative pieces for interior settings. As a result of their age and previous use, the plates may display subtle imperfections, which contribute to their authenticity and individual character.
